So much has been happening as of late, that I’ve had very little time to post here. Work and also writing for Go Hakka has kept me super busy. I’ve also been nominated for “Media Personality of the Year” for the 57th Annual Queens Ball Awards. However, the biggest bit of excitement was flying down to Sydney to meet The Presets.
I recently won the major prize competition that saw me win flights & accommodation to meet The Presets before they performed a special launch of their latest album, HI VIZ. If you haven’t checked the album out, I strongly suggest you do so. There are some seriously awesome bangers on there!
I actually took Jaeger the drummer from the band that I manage. That’s right, I’ve recently started managing local surf punk act, Hey Baby. That’s been a lot of fun. They’re a cool bunch and never cease to bring a smile to my face. Anyways as I was saying, I went down with Jaeger and for 24 hours we lived like absolute rock stars. I’m surprised we didn’t burn down the hotel room. I’m also surprised we still have livers.
Anyways it was probably the most fun and loosest 24 hours I’ve had in long time. The below photos and videos will give you a pretty good idea of all the shenanigans we got up to.
Literally the best time ever! 2018 seems to be the year that just keeps giving. I’m turning 36 this weekend and if the first half of the year is anything to go by, the rest of 2018 is going to be one hell of a good time!
