The latest trailer for Disney’s live-action remake of Mulan has arrived, and damn! It is something of epic proportions!
Disney’s remakes can be a little hit and miss, however, in regards to their remake of Mulan, they look like they have a blockbuster hit on their hands.
This trailer gives us our best look at the flick yet. It’s clear from what we see the writers have made a few changes, but they seem to work. While the film won’t be a musical spectacle, it will be an action film of epic proportions.
The trailer also introduces us to the new witch villain Xianniang played by Gong Li, who looks fierce as hell. If there were any doubts regarding Yifei Liu in the role of Mulan, this trailer surely eases all worry. She perfectly captures the essence of Mulan in every way!
I’ll be straight up. This is going to be one of those cases where as soon as you drop expectations of it being a word for word remake of the original, you won’t be disappointed in the slightest.
Honestly, the trailer speaks for itself.
I can so not wait for this!
